Why upgrade prices change
Available cabin inventory, demand for a sailing, and fare changes can all affect the prices you see. Cabin categories do not necessarily move together: a suite may become less expensive while another category stays the same.
Royal Offer Hub observes pricing changes; it does not know or predict Royal Caribbean’s internal pricing decisions. The useful question is what an available cabin costs relative to your current cabin now, and how that comparison has changed.
Why price history matters
“This upgrade costs $400” tells you today’s amount. “This upgrade costs $400 and was $900 recently” gives you a reason to take a closer look. Neither number tells you what tomorrow’s price will be.
