Three Club Royale rewards people often mix up

A marketing offer, an onboard reward, and a tier benefit are different things. Each has its own rules and timing.

Marketing offers

Promotions sent or loaded for an eligible Club Royale member. They may list qualifying sailings and vary in cabin, guest coverage, FreePlay, expiration, and terms. Royal Caribbean says offer recipients are selected using multiple criteria; it does not publish a formula that explains an individual offer.

Instant Cruise Rewards

Rewards that can be earned through casino play during a sailing. They may include a future cruise discount or complimentary cruise; the qualifying points and rewards can vary by voyage and change. See Royal Caribbean’s reward overview.

Annual tier cruise

A cruise benefit Royal Caribbean publishes for qualifying Club Royale tiers. It is separate from a marketing offer or an Instant Reward certificate. Check the current Club Royale Rewards Program for current tier benefits.

Royal Caribbean describes marketing-offer recipients as selected using multiple criteria, including demographic information, cruise history, and past casino activity. Royal Offer Hub can compare the offer information available on this site, but it cannot determine why Royal Caribbean issued a specific offer to an individual. Read Royal Caribbean’s guide to rewards and offers.

What does “complimentary cruise” mean?

It generally refers to the cruise fare covered by that specific offer. Taxes, fees, port expenses, gratuities, upgrades, additional guests or staterooms, transportation, and onboard purchases may still cost extra under the offer terms.

Royal Caribbean’s certificate terms list these as possible exclusions. Read the terms attached to your own offer and confirm the amount due before booking. Review the certificate terms.

Budget for the full trip

A comp fare may still include additional charges.

Cabin levels matter

Offers specify the cabin category included on qualifying sailings. This is a simple reference order, not a promise that every offer series contains each level or progresses in this exact way.

  3. Balcony
  4. Junior Suite
  5. Suites

Eligible sailings depend on the offer

A promotion can list a specific set of sailings. The ships, dates, itineraries, and cabin categories available for one offer may differ from another level.

What is an offer code?

The offer code identifies the promotion in your communication. Enter the full code to look up cabin and sailing information currently listed on Royal Offer Hub.

Have a code like 26RCL602?

Search a specific offer or compare its related levels when they are available.

Compare levels when a series is available

When multiple related offer codes appear on Royal Offer Hub, compare cabin and guest coverage, eligible sailing counts, ships, dates, and other listed terms.

This comparison uses offer information available on Royal Offer Hub. It is not an official Royal Caribbean offer-series naming rule, and the available data may be incomplete.

Review the codes and details in each level before you choose a sailing. The offer itself and Royal Caribbean’s current systems control eligibility.

Can you upgrade a casino comp cabin?

“Upgrade” can mean different things. Keep these three options separate:

Cabin included with offer
The category described by the casino offer on the sailings and terms it lists.
Paid cabin upgrade
Where permitted, you may ask to move to another category and pay the applicable difference. Casino-offer upgrades must be handled through the contact channel specified by Royal Caribbean; confirm current details with them.
RoyalUp bid
A separate bid-based program. It is not the same as the cabin benefit on an offer or asking about an offer upgrade. RoyalUp details.

Royal Caribbean’s current promotional terms direct guests to a Casino Royale representative, travel advisor, or independent casino representative to apply an offer upgrade. After you book, Royal Offer Hub can track observed cabin prices for your sailing and help estimate a move-up cost; it is not a quote or a guarantee of availability. Read the current promotional terms.

Can household offers be combined?

Some certificates have a specific household-combination provision; other offers and promotions may not be combinable. Read both offers and check the applicable terms.

Club Royale tiers and offers are different

Tier status is part of the Rewards Program. A casino marketing offer is a particular promotion. Royal Caribbean also publishes cruise benefits for qualifying tiers; having a tier does not guarantee a particular marketing offer.

Club Royale offers: common questions

What is a Royal Caribbean Club Royale offer?

It is a promotion or reward for an eligible Club Royale member. The communication or certificate defines the covered fare or discount, cabin, guests, eligible sailings, dates, and any other conditions.

How do I find my Club Royale offers?

Check the email or mail from Club Royale and the official Club Royale offers account or page. The available offers and redemption instructions are shown by Royal Caribbean.

What does a Club Royale offer code mean?

It identifies a specific promotion. The code itself does not tell you the cabin benefit or eligible sailings, so review the offer details.

Are Club Royale cruises completely free?

Not necessarily. A complimentary offer may cover the cruise fare described by its terms. Taxes, fees, port expenses, gratuities, upgrades, extra guests, transportation, and onboard purchases may cost extra.

Do Club Royale offers include two guests?

Some offers cover cruise fare for the named recipient and one guest; others can have discounted guest terms or different conditions. Check the guest coverage printed on your offer.

Can I pay to upgrade a Club Royale cabin?

An offer may allow a paid cabin upgrade subject to its terms and availability. Royal Caribbean’s promotional terms direct guests to contact Casino Royale, a travel advisor, or an independent casino representative to apply an upgrade. This is separate from a RoyalUp bid.

Can two Club Royale offers be combined?

Some certificate terms include a specific household combination provision. It does not apply to every marketing offer or promotion. Read the terms on both offers and confirm with Club Royale.

What is the difference between Club Royale tier status and casino offers?

Tier status is your standing in the Club Royale Rewards Program. A marketing offer is a particular promotion with its own code and terms. Tier benefits and a specific offer are related but are not the same thing.

What is an Instant Cruise Reward?

It is a reward that may be earned through casino play on a sailing. Available rewards and qualifying requirements can vary by voyage and change, so check the current onboard information from Club Royale.

Why do Club Royale offers have different sailing lists?

Offer recipients, offer types, booking windows, cabin categories, capacity, and other terms can differ. Royal Caribbean does not publish an individual offer formula that Royal Offer Hub can use to explain why a particular person received a specific list.

Information and verification

Offer terms and Club Royale program rules can change. Verify the dates, covered cabin, guest terms, charges, and booking instructions on your actual offer and with Royal Caribbean before booking. Royal Offer Hub compares available offer information; it does not determine personal eligibility. The independent-service notice is included in the site footer.
