Two different upgrade processes
Cabin Repricing vs. RoyalUp
Changing to another available cabin and submitting a RoyalUp bid are separate processes. See how each works and how Royal Offer Hub tracks cabin prices—not bids.
Two ways to pursue a cabin change
Exact procedures and booking terms can vary. Confirm the details for your reservation with Royal Caribbean or your travel advisor.
| Difference | Cabin repricing | RoyalUp |
|---|---|---|
| How it works | Ask to change to another available cabin or category under your booking terms. | Submit a price offer for a higher category if Royal Caribbean makes the booking eligible. |
| How price is set | Royal Caribbean or your advisor confirms the applicable fare difference and any charges. | You choose a bid amount; Royal Caribbean displays applicable totals before submission. |
| When it is confirmed | When the booking change is accepted and processed. | Only if Royal Caribbean accepts the bid and confirms the change. |
| Cabin selection | Ask about available cabins; availability and booking terms apply. | Bid on eligible categories. Royal Caribbean assigns the cabin location; a specific number is not guaranteed. |
| Inventory | The requested cabin or category must be available for the change. | Only selected bookings and categories can participate; an invitation or accepted bid is not guaranteed. |
| Can the price change? | A price observation can change before you confirm a booking change. | Bid updates or cancellation follow Royal Caribbean’s current RoyalUp rules. |
| Tracked by Royal Offer Hub? | Tracked by Royal Offer Hub | Not tracked by Royal Offer Hub |
For current program rules, see Royal Caribbean’s RoyalUp information, RoyalUp terms, and room-change guidance.
What is cabin repricing?
After booking, cabin availability and listed prices may change. Depending on your reservation and its terms, you can ask about changing to another available cabin category and paying the applicable difference.
Royal Caribbean’s room-change guidance says to contact its customer service team before sailing. If you booked through a travel advisor, ask that advisor. Casino Royale bookings may have additional offer terms, so confirm the process with the team handling your booking.
Why upgrade prices change
- Cabin inventory changes.Cabins are booked, released, or taken out of sale.
- Category fares change.A price movement in one category may not be matched by another.
- Promotions and fare conditions change. The terms attached to a booking can affect the amount due to change cabins.
- Demand varies by sailing.Ship, date, itinerary, and remaining inventory affect listed prices.
- Higher categories can become relatively cheaper. This can narrow the estimated fare difference between two cabin classes.

RoyalUp is Royal Caribbean’s bid-based stateroom upgrade program for selected eligible bookings. If invited and eligible, guests can submit an offer for a higher category. Royal Caribbean decides whether to accept it; acceptance is not guaranteed.
If a bid is accepted, charges and cabin assignment follow Royal Caribbean’s terms. Check the current program details before submitting an offer.

Royal Offer Hub tracks cabin pricing—not RoyalUp bids. Add a sailing to monitor cabin-category prices over time. If the estimated price to move up changes, ROH can surface the observation and send alerts available with your plan.

Cabin repricing and RoyalUp questions
What does repricing a Royal Caribbean cabin mean?
It means asking to change a reservation to another available cabin or category under the rules and price applicable to that booking. The final options and price must be confirmed with Royal Caribbean or the travel advisor handling the reservation.
Can I change cabins after booking?
Royal Caribbean says guests who want to change cabins before sailing should contact customer service. Availability and booking rules apply, and a change is not guaranteed.
Can a cabin upgrade become cheaper after booking?
The prices currently listed for cabin categories can change over time. A later estimate may be lower, but it does not lock inventory or establish the price for a specific booking.
Can an upgrade estimate become $0?
Yes. ROH may observe a $0 estimated fare difference between listed cabin classes on a sailing. That observation is not an approved reservation change or a promise that your own booking can move at no additional charge.
Is cabin repricing the same as RoyalUp?
No. Cabin repricing is a request to change a booking using applicable cabin availability and terms. RoyalUp is a bid-based program for selected eligible bookings; Royal Caribbean decides whether to accept an offer.
Does Royal Offer Hub track RoyalUp?
No. Royal Offer Hub monitors cabin-category pricing for tracked sailings. It does not monitor, recommend, or predict RoyalUp bids.
Does Royal Offer Hub book the upgrade for me?
No. ROH provides price observations and alerts. Contact Royal Caribbean, Casino Royale, or your travel advisor to confirm your options and complete any booking change.
Can Casino Royale bookings change cabin categories?
It depends on the offer and booking terms. Ask Casino Royale or the channel managing your reservation to confirm availability, eligibility, and the final amount due.
